Spanish homebrew in York!

Hi all,

It's my first post here in UK. I hope to start to brew soon. I'm going to send my utils from Spain to York and try to make the ingredients from UK.

I really want to brew here for the Uk's water, which probably it's better that the water that we have in Spain. so...

Where are the homebrewers in York ??? :P

Hi,

I used to live in York and found the water almost undrinkable, especially in summer, it came out of the tap a light brown colour. We always drank bottled water.

Hopefully things are better now. I would check the water analysis from Yorkshire water for your area before your first brew.
