I had originally intended to build my own sparge arm but after reading some horror stories of people on here who have done that(6 attempts and still not right!), I started looking at this one here:

Does anyone have this one here? Any good? I want to use it with a 50L nordic stock pot. The arm itself itself is spprox 29cm and the diameter of the 50L mas tun must be well over 40cm. Will I struggle to touch the edges (for want of a better term)? :)

I found a jug, tin foil with holes in works well if I ever fly sparge, nothing to go wrong and easily replaced.

I'm with PD. Sparge arms look cool and sound like a great idea. Like many, I built one. It even worked ok! But I'm much happier with a simple return manifold, as it is dead simple, reliable and has no moving parts.
