I was visiting a beer reseller for some items last week and decided to try a few of the beers he sells on behalf of local craft breweries. I was interested to see how a £4/pint craft beer faired against my own kit beer.
So off I went home with a 6 pint selection pack from a small local Suffolk craft brewery.
Well what can I say. I am very pleased with the beer I am producing. I know it can be a personal taste and different styles suit different people, but I’m very underwhelmed.
Every one of my beers I would happily go back to the fridge for a second or even a third. I’ve so far tried 4 of the 6 commercial beers and would buy any of them again. If it wasn’t for the fact I paid £4 for it 2 of them I’d have tipped down the sink.
Appears I’m doing ok with my home setup and also how good the quality of the modern kit ingredients are.
