To filter or not to filter.....

I brew wine and cider mainly but am branching out into beer. I always filter my wine to get a nice clear finish. Does anyone filter beer. I heard it can affect the taste.

Don't filter no need just let the sediment drop for about a week or if it is persistent use finings.
