Ok, had a TC on the go for 10 days now. There seems to be no life left in the airlock but i havent taken a reading since i started it ( SG was 1060 ). So, when is the best time to bottle? Give it a few more days, weeks? Any advice welcome cheers.

Once it has cleared and you have a constant gravity reading over a few days you can bottle. Just because their is no airlock activity doesn't necessarily mean it has stopped. I have got 5 gallons which I have not got round to bottling from september. The longer you leave it the better it will be. TC can be a bit insipid when new not to dissimilar to strongbow etal, But it should improve with time. :thumb:

I generally wait until it's almost but not quite perfectly clear. Of course if you used cloudy juice it won't...

Longest I've had one go before bottling is 16 days.
I think.
