Where did u get your white grape juice from?

This is only 20% actual juice so u might find your finished wine is a bit thin if you've used something like this. The only known places for white grape concentrate at wilkos and brewing shops, grape juice in tinned peaches, powder form from health food stores/websites and sometimes on Amazon eBay for quite a lot of money.
Wine doesn't have to contain grapes to be wine.

You might struggle with sweetness when using "juice drink"s cause they contain varying amounts of sweetner and some end up not being very nice. This is a classic beginners mistake and one Ive managed to make a few times! aheadbutt

Oh bloody hell! 😂 so first attempt is a fail already 😂😂 will it be drinkable??

Always try to use 100% juice for your 2.5l per 4.5l then if u want to experiment with another half litre for different flavours and go from there once u have some experience in making and tasting. The second part is just important as you might prefer strong abv, u might prefer "thinner" Wines.

Like I say it's preference, I'd be tempted to top up with AJ after a few days and buy some soda water/lemonade for topping up when drinking!

Ok then so if I was to add 1l of Aj to it after 2 days I would be stronger ABV? Let’s face it... if it’s strong enough I won’t notice the taste after a few glasses 😂😂

Quite a few people have used the welschs grape juice in the past so u could try msg them and ask how they got on! If u go back a few pages in this thread there's definitely a few others.

I don't think you'd increase the abv by adding sugar, I'd imagine it would have the opposite effect because you're adding 1lt of liquid but only 100g ish sugar.

Kelper -
Please don't use text speak!

I am with Kelper here, the old site had a rule stating text typing was not allowed (as it upsets the crusty old feckers here - me being one of them) the new T&C's don't mention it but please type the words in full as it doesn't take much longer, thanks.
