I'm a volunteer on the project to build a replica of the Saxon Ship found at the 625AD burial place of King Raedwald in Sutton Hoo in 1939. We're building this using axes and freshly felled oak which creates a lot of waste oak chips and bark. Does anyone have a recipe for oak flavored beer?

Death? No more risk than any other homebrew unless you fall into a vat of the stuff. Follow the normal sterilizing rules and don't ferment in metal as kombucha is acidic.
I use a one gallon glass like this...
Misread the instructions and addd the extract sachet at the start of fermentation. Will this cause a problem? Do I need to get another sachet?
