Thats a great post thankyou, I will try that, its exactly what I wanted. Ive done a few beer kits and have equipment for for wine and Cider home brews. I reckon the stew pot will hold at least 5 litres maybe more!!
Hi there, I'd really appreciate some advice. I struggle when reading about processes, but I generally do well when doing the process, and learn from the doing.
So I've saved up some money and want to buy some kit. I don't have a lot of space but where should I start? It will be mostly small...
Hmm living in Devon im always interested in cider ideas... or maybe its just my preference!
There is a minimum order of £250 for free delivery, unfortunately I canot remember the conditions for an ac. however the BC wine is bubbling like crazy so im feeling confident
you may be right it may well be too strong or to sweet! I only used a standard wine yeast I hope it holds out....
Well the the Rocks is £3.90 ish a bottle in the health food shop, but I got it wholesale from Suma for my cafe and paid £1.90+vat.
Hi thx for that, I have used about 1.5lt of squash and 500 gram sugar from a solution syrup, i am guessing that'll be about 2llb sugar. Sort of a ribena recipe adaptation.. Fingers crossed
Ok ive just started drinking this and its really good, quite sweet and lovely strawberry flavor. It wasnt too pricey to make 4 jars of Tesco jam at about 80p each plus sugar
Hi there well Ive been wanting to try out the Ribena wine but was put of by the boiling, I noticed that Rocks organic squash doesn't have any preservatives in it, its just juice, water and sugar so I was wondering if anyone has tried this as an option?
Hiya, if you live in or near to Exmouth the recycling center has a bunch say 12+ of Glass clear Demijohns and a few brown ones good for 50p each, all a bit mucky but the ones I looked at were in good nick.
Cheers
Christian

Pectic enzyme double quantity

Dissolve the jam in the water, leave to...
Hi there, I have just made a strawberry jam wine from an old homebrew Recipe book. It's looking good so far but the recipe suggests using a Sauternes wine yeast goof for 16%..I don't have this, but I have got some Alcotec yeast, or I could use a GP wine yeast. I know the Alcotec yeast is good...
