I brewed this at 20 litres with about 200g extra brewing sugar and a bit of cinnamon. It gave a reading of 1048 so hopefully should give it a bit of extra strength. Cheers everyone.

Thanks MyQul. Just off to Wilko for somw cleaner and carbonation drops so will have a look for yeast. Want a bit of body to it though so will just brew shorter and add a bit more brewing sugar or enhancer. Got about 400 grams of each in a bag so will chuck those in.

Just about to get this brew on. It says brew up to 22.5 litres though and reading should be 1040. I worked out this should give me about a 4.6 percent ale. Was hoping for something a bit stronger. Would you suggest only doing 20 litres and adding a bit more brewing sugar? Its an all in kit so no...

Just ready to bottle my Cerveza which I thought I would give a try with it being summer. It's the first lager style beer I have done though and wondered whether I should put 2 carbonation drops in the 500ml plastic bottles?

I have just purchased a can of this kit. It recommends 500g spraymalt light and 500g brewing sugar. I have 1kg on beer kit enhancer though, would it be better to just use this than the spraymalt light?

I want to give this a try but with a bit of a twist. I fancied a bit of an orange twang to it to make it into a bit of a Blue Moon copy. What are the best way to give it an orangey flavour? Also would you use the brew enhancer 1 or 2 that they recommend or spraymalt light and brewing sugar?

Done my first couple of brews now. Wilko's Hoppy Copper Bitter which was Ok and Coopers Australian IPA which is still conditioning but seems quite good. Was wondering what to try next. Want to try a stout but going to leave that until the Autumn. Something lighter I think for the better weather...

Got a lot of activity in the fv from this, its calmed down a bit now though. Had 2 readings of 1010 but I am going to be patient and leave for another 6 days so it will be 2 weeks in the vessel. Looking forward to this one!:-D
