I put mine in the fridge overnight, set pressure until you hear a glugging in the keg (co2 going into solution) then roll on the floor for two mins, leave to stand until morning then let pressure out down to serving psi then it's all good.
Not had any problems with this method & because you...
I'm a bit new to wine and have tried bottling but 30 bottles is too time consuming! I use cornies for my beer and was wondering if something similar is available for wine? Don't want to tie up a cornie but could do with a tap on it to. I heard boxes can introduce air into the wine after a few...
Thanks for that, must be somewhere to drill without hitting the pipes. Maybe the bottom of the fridge would be safe. The fridge is almost new so I don't want to try drilling a pilot hole if it's got a chance of hitting a pipe.
I got mine from ebay for £70 almost new & with manufacturers warranty still running, fits 4 kegs inside with gas outside.

I have a Miele upright fridge / freezer which I've converted into a kegerator. Problem is I need to mount a three way gas feed from the outside & need to get three pipes in. Can I just drill the sides or are there any pipes inside it?
I managed to get four kegs inside without any shelves so...
I'm having the same issues myself. Just bought 2 brew belts One for my glass 5g demi & one for my Coopers brew bucket. How do you fit a thermostat to a brew belt?
As above, I started just a couple of months ago & have built a kegorator & have some Perlick taps and cornies etc. Started off as a cheap hobby
Also got some great advice from the guys on here :thumb:
Thanks Eskimobob, you were right. I took the keg out of the fridge & rolled it about for a couple of mins with the nitro set to 30psi & it's pouring spot on now
Thanks guys, this place is such a good resource for expert advice :drink:
I'd been messing about with pressures &...
It has a good creamy head on it it's just not enough, yes it must be something to do with the gas pressure. Just can't work out why putting 40 psi through such tiny holes produces very little head. It had more head when poured through a party tap! :hmm:
I'm having to drink loads of sample...
I've just installed a stout faucet on my kegerator & I'm having problems with the amount of head, it's only about 1/2 inch of foam / cream on the top and very little cascading.
I'm using a mixed gas of 70/30 and the stout tap has very small holes in a metal disk. Looking at it, I thought this...
