    Fruit 'Tea Bags' ....

just stumbled across lidl grape juice and fruit infusions for less than £1 each - so that'll be another batch on then. I'm doing raspberry and peach this time. I've done a few of these now with good results so it'll be nice to see how it compares when made with lidl stuff.

    Tea and Raisin Wine

Not really. I just turned em out into a sieve and pressed them to get as much liquor as possible leaving as much solids behind as possible. But then if you do have pulp I should imagine it'll enhance the ferment and a little pectalose will prevent haze

    Fiery Ginger Beer

I set this going a few weeks ago as per the recipe in the first post and it started quite sedately. Fermented out in about a week though so you've nothing to worry about.

Fruit teabag wine with twinings cherry and cinnamon

I did a fruit teabag wine with twinings cherry and cinnamon. I stopped it but it tastes superdry (from a cheeky sneaky sample when racking) I'll probably back sweeten that one. It is indeed down to taste and the particular peculiarities of each recipe I suppose

Supermarket Juice Wine How To guide and Recipes.

The recipe from the video in the first post. It fermented right out in about 4 days but strangely it's not too dry.

    Tea and Raisin Wine

I can't remember if it was on this forum, but I've done a search and can't find the exact recipe I used so I thought I'd share it here as I've just bottled and had a sneaky sample and I rather like it. Ingredients 1lb raisins 2lb raisins 6 teabags (I used Taylors Yorkshire but any will...

Turbo cider with (probably/hopefully) a hint of strawberry & raspberry

I set a turbo cider going on the 23rd and had some strawberry and raspberry teabags left over from a fruit teabag wine so I stewed ten of them and added them to the bucket. 23L, started at 1.06 and currently at 1.02 with no sign of fermentation stopping any time soon so it'll be strong. Can't...

    My wife hates forums

Absolutely Rob, just let's hope nothing I make ends up tasting like their swill :) totally not a fan. I was planning an epic post about what I've done so far/my experiences/problems/successes etc in the hope that it's useful, and also so folks can set me straight were I've gone wrong. Keep an...
