I will have to give that brewferm bandit kit a go, there is nothing better in the summer than an nice cold desperados :party:
Did you give the bottles two weeks in the warm before so they could carb up before putting them in the cold room?
You can leave it in one FV for a a few weeks without any problems (Mine stay in there for 14 days), so you don't really need a glass carbouy. I always tend to brew my kits short so...
If there is froth (thats the krausen) then it is fermenting. Don't be concerned about the airlock, give it a few days and take a gravity reading. if its going down its working :cheers:
Make sure you leave the bottles in the warm for 2 weeks to carb up and then put them out n the cold. They will clear in a couple of weeks. Patience :roll:
Any krausen on it? Then an obvious daft question, did you put the yeast in? :D
Give it a bit longer then a gentle stir with a sanitised spoon, if nothing try re-pitching some more yeast :drunk:
This is the whole problem with this country! What gets me is a lot of this comes from the misuse of the European convention of human rights. Which time and again gets abused in the UK and other countries in Europe seem to be able to bypass it when they want, yet come down on the UK with an iron...
