Is this correct?? My 1st batch was flat and cloudy so im going to re prime and use finings. I will open 32 bottles and poor into the vessel with the finings, stir and leave over night, then melt 200g of brewing sugar with a little water poor it in and stir then bottle used 500g spray malt...

HHMMMM I just cracked my 1st bottle and its not very fizzy. A slight FSST when i opened but its virtually flat. No real Head at all. its also a bit cloudy however it tastes OK. Anything i can do to save it, perhaps re prime in a bucket and re bottle and wait another couple of weeks, or even...

Its another Wilko own brand...Light Golden Larger. 1kg sugar is 4% if i follow instructions. I may use 200g of honey, 500g Spray malt Light, 300g Brewing Sugar. All with just 20l water....what do you think?????

Just got my next kit. Gonna start later. I take it less water means higher ABV. I recon my first is under 5 but I'd rather 5.5.....

OK Its been bottled at about 20 degs for 7 days now. Looks clear but dose not seem fizzy. is there a way to check. i used 1/2 t spoon of brewing sugar per bottle. im gonna leave another week till i put in fridge of 2 more weeks......

Ok. The brew has been 18ish degrees for 16 days. My bottles are in the dishwasher and will be sterilised. I have a 2nd large sterilised bucket which I will mix 100g of brewing sugar and a pint of hot water Then syphon the brew into, mix then bottle and cap then back into 18ish degrees for 2...

I have scored my bottles free from a pub. Huzzah. I'm picking up Thursday so the brew will be 16 days in the FV at 18ish degrees.

Yes. I started the brew on the 3rd am. there was an inch of foam until i checked this morning. there is ring of scum an inch above the liquid level.....

Bit Concerned... I have found a cooler place and its been in there 2 days but i just had a quick look and there's no foam, its a much lighter colour????

Bit concerned... The stick on thermometer is reading 22 degs. is that ok? ???
