    Hello from Fife, Scotland.

Hi @Mateusz, welcome. I am in Stirling with a similar setup to you but not always got the time to brew so throw in the odd kit. Don’t take everything you see on the forum as gospel, there are a lot of entrenched view points. Experiment and have fun.

    Heriot-Watt Brewing and Distilling course

@DocAnna can understand your frustration of they didn’t mention the 1000 word limit. I would appeal that as you obviously put in a lot of effort. When I was doing one of my Masters degrees the average word count per assignment was 6000 words but the Human Factors lecture limited us to 2000...

    - Alcohol Free and Ultra Low Beer Brewing Techniques has tons of information on alternative techniques to achieve low/no alcohol beers, some good recipes, YouTube videos and some essential info on hygiene related to pH. Worth checking out. I am definitely going to try this out as I love brewing...

    Glasgow CO2

@Rento living in Stirling I am looking for a CO2 supplier. Part of the difference in price seen may be down to the purity and hence grade of the CO2. Food grade vs Non food grade Co2 cartridges - Co2 cartridges blog The difference is only about 0.9% depends of you are content with potentially...

    Novalager

@DocAnna it certainly ferments out fast. This was a Cali Commercial at 18C, added in a diacetyl rest after that just to be sure. Conditioning at the moment so can’t come on taste but it smells perfect. Need to try out on a pucker lager next.

    Fermentation charts

Always been a bit concerned regards security passing my WiFi password to 3rd party apps, so use the Nautilus Wi-Fi relay for the iSpindel and an Excel Spreadsheet for plotting the trend.

    Malt Miller

Clarence fresh wort doesn’t have most of the water extracted like extract does and uses the water the brewer intended, not what comes out of your tap, so it should be top notch quality.

    Malt Miller

See that David Heath has done a video on this. Selection from The MM is limited at the moment but the wort could be used as a basis for experimentation, different yeasts, dry hops, etc. Fresh - Wort - Beer Kits offer a wider range. Won’t be everybody’s cup of tea but options for those short on...

    Festival German Weiss

To anyone who is enjoying Festival Weiss I can thoroughly recommend Mangrove Jacks’ Orange & Cinnamon Wit. Just made some for Christmas and it is delicious. Ferment Fast at 20C.

Two more new kits from Mangrove Jacks

1 kg of Dextrose. If you are going to make ensure you have a lot of headspace as Krausen was very large at first.

Two more new kits from Mangrove Jacks

Sampling the Wit now having started brew in October. It makes a great tasting beer. Both the Orange & Cinnamon flavours are there, great of you add a slice of orange on the side of the glass Del Boy style.

What kit beer are you drinking tonight?

Just sampled my Mangrove Jacks Orange & Cinnamon Wit. Turned out very nice, better than Blue Moon IMHO.
