Looking at the state of the flue seal I'd be cautious running it in a closed room withput a CO monitor nearby.
Honestly, if he was serious he could have spent a few minutes cleaning it up a bit.

A thick a quick whizz over with stove black and a new rope, it would be a pleasure to behold 😂

This is a house on Pensacola Beach in Florida. It is the only home that withstood a Force 4 or 5 hurricane. All the other houses around it were leveled. This is a type of concrete.

These are replacements, but same type as the ones that were blown/washed away.

Reminds me of the story of the the three Little pigs....
Wonder if their insurance insisted on a like for like instead of a brick or concrete house?
Plus the shape of the concrete house is wind friendly.

The moon, seen from the Arctic Circle, between Russia and Canada. It only lasts a few seconds, but it's worth seeing. It's a spectacular sight. Imagine that you are in a location between Canada and Russia and suddenly and for just 30 seconds, the moon appears in all its splendour and disappears before your eyes. It looks like the moon is going to collide with the earth. Even more impressive AND for just 5 seconds, a total eclipse of the sun takes place. It is unprecedented and spectacular!

The video was shot in REAL-TIME. The phenomenon happens at the “perigee”: the closest point of a heavenly body’s orbit around the Earth, where the proximity of the moon is so evident that, suddenly, we realise the great speed at which the Earth is moving. This effect is only visible once a year and lasts for just 30 seconds… Astronomers figured out those exact 30 seconds and had the cameras rolling. Fortunately, they had a clear sky. Absolutely amazing!!

Watch this happen on the video. Total sun eclipse is ONLY 5 seconds…
within seconds the sun is back. The moon re-appears and moves away in that 5 second interval.

Great video, which I loved but sadly it's a fake!

FASCINATING FACTS YOU NEVER LEARNED IN SCHOOL

In 1953, a fledgling company called Rocket Chemical Company and its staff of three set out to create a line of rust-prevention solvents and degreasers for use in the aerospace industry. Working in a small lab in San Diego, California, it took them 40 attempts to get the water displacing formula worked out. But they must have been really good, because the original secret formula for WD-40® Multi-Use Product -which stands for Water Displacement perfected on the 40th try—is still in use today.

Do you remember Saturday afternoon wrestling.

Would Big Daddy still have been our favourite had we known his name was Shirley?
