Deff'ed off Hydrometer og on kits

As im not concerned with the alcohol strength of my beer, only the taste and looks, i have stopped checking og and final sg, and only check the sg when i think its time to bottle ( 7 or 10 days, bit longer for cold weather). I go by smell, taste and look, of the taster glass. Other than adding...

Half a pint of Turbo cider goes a long way!

This is very true, especially on laminate floor. :o Bottled my second batch of TC this morning, (i have been tinkering with my syphon tubing)at the end of the DJ(light plastic water bottle type) the weight of tube and contents toppled over said DJ. what a schoolboy error. all cleaned...

    Do i have a problem?

Having just bottled my Cyder and bitter, all i can think about is "whats next in the fermenter?", As I am new to this brewing caper, i dont want to run before i can walk. I am also boring the Jeebus out of the chaps at work too. ps I also get a buzz out of making/finding use for stuff in the...
