    With the grainfather I think people whirlpool or use muslin bags or hop spiders, as for the bulldog I'd watch the blundering brewers video as a good rolling boil with the basket in causes the hot liquor to spit up out the centre pipe.

    I def agree with either sort some stove top brews, or try score some cheap set up first! Also I'd wait keg kingdoms new brew machine! Two versions a 30L & 50L the 30L is almost half the price of the GF too when out poss around Xmas!

    Yea not an issue at all for saving them.If you wouldn't mind taking some of the bottles buddy lol. When's best for you to collect as sat I'm down at the home brew festival. I can tuck them behind the bins and let the Mrs know or I should be back later Sunday if any good?

    I've about 6 crates full of brown bottles plus few more. Some are brew bottle some branded ie wychwood, also have a few swing tops will need new rubber o rings. Free to collect a few cheeky brews are never turned down either. I'm in Bradford. ALL 500ML

    I say give it a blast, no matter what you do always a chance someone will moan on result but this forum seems to have plenty of people happy with results and know it's all above board. Always a chance it it could be debated to death.

    This is true at £1-£5 I think most would fancy their chance at a prize or prizes worth more than paid out. I would be surprised if anyone would question sending to you or whom ever runs it, as the forum has been top banana with the giveaways. I'd be more than happy that's for sure.

    Sounds like a good idea I was tempted to do a lotto bonus ball with the cost adding up to a grain father for the winner! I'm a coward tho and didn't being the idea up to people. If I was lucky to win I wouldn't mind paying postage as long as worth the prize I guess.
