Is two bottles of wine night every other day too much?

I'm currently taking a total break from alcohol.Might be permanent- Long story short I was asking myself questions about whether I was drinking too much for a long time, and continued drinking too much. It's got that I don't trust myself to just have one or even four drinks, my "off switch" is...

Bulldog Beer Kit - Evil Dog Double IPA

Ive just bottled my third kit of this stuff. Its already gased up a decent amount since bottling on Wednesday (I usually fill a few brown PET bottles-I do a unscientific squeeze test to see if bottle is hard) I'd advise caution when drinking this brew- very drinkable but damn near special brew...

    Klarstein mash kettle- worth getting?

It's a 30 litre kettle with an electric element and an adjustable temp control. I have tried to put a link to it below, hopefully this works...

    Klarstein mash kettle- worth getting?

I have about 10 extract brews under my belt now, and definitely fancy trying all grain, I like IPAs and lagers. Due to lack of space BIAB seems the way to go for me, I know I can try this out using a big arsed pan and my kitchen hob but Id have to buy such a pan and a suitable thermometer...

    IPA temperature too high?

Hi- on my fourth kit, so fairly new to this. Got a muntons gold IPA on the go, started Saturday. no temperature control, I figured well insulated house would mean less fluctuations. WRONG! 28 degrees right now.my understanding is it might end up with off tastes. It's bubbling nicely. Think...

    TESCO and ASDA Beer offer.

Innis and gunn 660ml is £1. 49 in Tesco at the moment. It's a good size bottle to reuse and leave the sediment behind and fill a pint glass. Also the label peels off really nice.

    Hello from Manchester!

Thanks! I'm going to struggle to find a colder place, maybe the kitchen...my FV has a tap and the shop i got it from told me this was a decent way of minimising sediment. Tap is about an inch up from the bottom.

    Hello from Manchester!

Thanks everyone! My wilko kit still bubbling away and according to the instructions going to be finished in next two days or so. My plan is to not rush into bottling, I gather theres no harm done to leave it sitting a few days after primary fermentation done. I'd rather wait till next weekend...

    Hello from Manchester!

Just joined this tonight, got my kit started last night. ( Wilko Cerveza) - wanted something cheap that matures reasonably quickly for my first stab at hombrew since impoverished student dabbles with it some twenty years ago. I'm sure I'm going to have loads of dumb questions before very long so...
