    Love Brewing New Kit Giveaway!

Of the six, Cornish Lifesaver Please. However I noticed there is a Dockers Merseyside IPA, and I'm actually working on Sandon Dock and can see the Liver Building... Seems like Kismet, I might have to order one of those, Andy

    Cherry Sour Beer

I would suggest that while the juicer may have taken a few chunks of the outside of the stone, most of the kernels would remain intact - it is the kernels which contain the cyanide. That said, some commercial juicers (macerators) do work by crushing but unless you paid several grand I doubt it...

    Filter on Corny Keg

Thanks Graz, interesting concept but been done before - I remember a friend had the top tap rotokeg which had a floating pickup similar to this. I must admit I did briefly consider 'fine tuning' my dip tube with an angle grinder and cut-off disc so that the last few pints remained undisturbed..

    Filter on Corny Keg

Just wondering on thoughts on filtering... Those who use Corny kegs will probably understand the problem, but for benefit of others, the Corny keg has a dip tube which goes RIGHT to the bottom of the keg - there is actually a small dimple at the bottom so you can get every last drop out. Of...

    Ever tried Ginger Bug ?

This is less about producing an alcoholic brew, than a refreshing soft drink. I should add that the GBP (also known as a SCOBY - Yeast + Bacteria) basically doubles with each batch so can be donated to friends but is a bit like a pyramid scheme - doubles in 1 week so after 6 months there...

    Ever tried Ginger Bug ?

Just coming to the bottling stage of my first batch of GBP (Ginger Beer Plant) - got the starter culture from Lakeland123 in ireland on ebay, and the taste is much as I remember as a kid some 40 years ago. I used a recipe which was on the Guardian website, Basically 2l of chlorine free water...

    Hose and gun recommendations?

The blue cold water tubing can be buried directly in ground for a permanent install, the fittings are easy to use but you do need a reinforcing piece in the end of the tube so it doesnt collapse the tube when tightened. Also there needs to be a non return valve between the domestic supply and...

Corny Keg to 3/8 ID beer hose...

Hi, I'm looking for a way to connect 3/8 (9.5mm) internal diameter hose directly to the corny keg disconnect. At the moment is a 3/8 OD 1/4 ID line connected to a 1/4barb swivel nut on the 1/4 flare on the quick disconnect, then a 1/4 ID to 3/8 ID barbed reducer (I guess it should be called an...
