Today (Sunday) I brewed my own receipe for a Citra SMaSH (1 gallon) although it should be a TMaSH (Two Malts). Second ever brew done ✅

So will my reading be correct? I made sure the test sample was 20c before using the hydrometer. I was aiming for 1.050 ish but maybe my efficiency rating is out?

There was 4.75L in the boil with 1kg pale and 200g light crystal. Also had 30g citra. True Seems to be mostly made up of hops? No bag used I just sieve multiple times after the boils with 2 fine sieves

So when should I take readings to try and work this out? Pretty much take water level readings at each stage, OG and FG readings?

Are you supposed to just drop the carb tablets in and it carbonates the beer? Thanks buddy I’m going to try one brew with and one without and check the difference
