    Confirming my thoughts to be honest, I didn't think you would be able to brew much more than a 12-13l batch in a 30l bucket. Back to the drawing board, I can see me getting a big stainless pot... or just saving and getting a Grainfather S40!

    Starting this at the weekend, I cant ever stick to instructions though so I'm adding 400g of brewing sugar to pop the ABV up around 6, using Verdant yeast and adding a shed load more hops... Using all the kit hops on day one for biotransformation, then adding 200g of Hopeye NEIPA blend on day...

    That’s interesting, looks like the answer is no then, much worse than HDPE which is what pressure barrels are made of... are fermenting bins LDPE? I’ve stored stuff in them for months with no ill effects

    Anybody got any opinions on long term storage of finished brews in the big 5 gallon polycarbonate water cooler bottles? I have happened across a few of them at work, and they look just like glass carboys/demijohns, but I am a little worried about oxidation, does anybody know if polycarbonate...
