Next kits, variation and knowing your sugar limits?

Hi all, First off I've only been doing this a short while and have really loved some of the results you get with the standard coopers kits and brew enhancers etc. I'm nowhere near AG nor likely to be for a long time although I am learning by reading here. Search as i might I haven't been able...

    I made a kegerator....

Thank you guys I am very proud of it, gets so many compliments as well :drink: It's a hotpoint rla36g, I went down to omet and measured everything on display to gt an idea of why models would and wouldn't work. It's not temp controlled I won't be using it for fermenting just keeping cold bre...

    I made a kegerator....

Cheers guys yes to drip trays and no to kitchen! What once was called the utility room is now just the brewery, I bought an appropriately sized under counter fridge, imported some stainless taps with a decent 4 inch shank and drilled front locations for them as well as a co2 line in from the...

    Used Cornelius kegs

Just got two kegs, party tap, couple of line lengths and some ball lock disconnects for 85 quid delivered from norm. That's a bargain, don't skimp it will cost you elsewhere, I'm very happy with these.

Sorry I haven't seen anything in a search and have just taken delivery of two kegs with pin lock posts (I've only ever used ball lock) how the frig do you remove the posts? I have a 24mm spanner that doesn't grip well enough for my liking but will do the job, just worried about rounding metal...

    Stout Kit

I've got the coopers Irish stout coming out of the Fv on Tuesday and I have a tin of treacle so would like to batch prime with that - how much water should I be dissolving it in to get this right for about 100g of treacle? Suggestions most welcome this is my first time trying this type of priming

    Coopers European Lager Review

Ugh. Just tried two bottles of this after its sat in them for two months (3 are recommended). I don't know if this is how it's supposed to taste but the two I had were nutty in flavour and smell. To add to that they have blown my head off as I woke up with an horrendous headache. This lot...

    Coopers Irish Stout Review

I just put this one on, can recommends 300g dextrose and 500g light spraymalt. I followed his but upped the dextrose to 500g - trying to run close to the recommendation for he first one so I get a guideline for te future. Looks so smooth when mixed together, gorgeous. The can recommends that...

    Coopers, Canadian Blonde Review

Tony that sounds great! When I say clear in the fv I don't mean clear as in see through just that it's a much improved look to how it first went in. It bottled slightly cloudy and cleared to see through in the bottle in just 1-2 days so you're looking good! Make sure you are happy that...

    What's your brewing process ?

Ok I'll throw mine in here for a giggle since I'm new and have read some things which have changed my approach slightly: Ferment in coopers Vessell (non-airlock type) for 10-14 days at temperatures between 20-23 degrees in this weather. Bottle via a wand and measure out sugar individually...
