    Fermenting wherry under pressure

Hi, I didn't ferment under pressure in the end, but just increased pressure at the end to carbonate. The only issue I would worry about fermenting a kit under pressure would be yeast stress, I can't remember the quality of the yeast in a wherry kit, do they give you 2 packs these days?

    Mini Nitrogen Regulator

It was a while ago I did it, and I only carbonated to a few psi as I didn't want very fizzy stout. I think I served at quite high pressure, but it'll depend on your line length etc.

    Pressure fermenting impact on flavour

As far as I'm aware esters are formed towards the start of fermentation, so if you just leave the spunding valve set to atmospheric pressure for the first few days you should still get the required flavour. Then close they spunding valve for carbonation. I listen to the outlet of the spunding...

    Tonic Water

I went ahead and made it up with 900g sugar and I'm impressed to be honest. It's as nice as the tonic I normally buy and I really enjoy being able to just use a small amount and not have the rest of the bottle going flat! Need to tune the carbonation and line length in my kegerator. If I don't...

    Tonic Water

That sounds like a great recipe! I see that malt Miller sell the bark but I don't usually order from them so it would be quite expensive to order just the bark. I'll have to see what else I need and do an order. Thanks for taking the time to post the recipe, I really appreciate it

    Tonic Water

Did you end up adding the sugar. I've got a pack to use but would rather use sugar than sweetener, am interested in your experience. Thanks

    Co2 notts/Sheffield

I get mine from gas and hire. Chesterfield is quite a way for me but they are happy to deliver it to a shop in Bilsthorpe for me which is much closer. Great customer service. Can't remember exact cost but its similar to what you quote above.

Drip tray on a curved fridge door?

For my drip tray I fitting 3 brackets on the door, then have used magnets on them and in the drip tray to secure it. The added benefit is it is very easy to remove to clean up any spillage.

Manifold - tails to JG fittings

I have used self tappers on the inside of my fridge to fit the manifold. Worked perfectly. There were no pipes in the side of my fridge, but I can't promise there won't be in yours.

    Pressure fermenting guides?

So my view is, don't brew under pressure unless you are in a rush to make beer. If you are in a rush, then fair enough play around. Otherwise don't ferment under pressure, just use the yeast at its suggested temperature range and make great beer. Use the pressure vessel to cap the beer at the...

First closed transfer from fermzilla to keg advice please

When I'm fermenting I connect the gas out of the fermenter to the beer out(with the correct disconnect) of my keg, and put the spunding valve on the outlet of the keg. That way the CO2 produced during fermentation purges the keg of oxygen. Then when fermentation is nearing end I close up the...
