Im now re-trying Red Dead redemption only on RedM which are private RP servers, so no griefers.

I never played SP or MP, I only play on private servers in a Milsim unit (Military simulation) which make the game quite realistic and no nobhead griefers. If you find you would like to try that. Give me a shout and I'll give you the group Discord invite

    Calculating boil-off

I think that's the recommended method, that's how I always do it with a new kettle. Then compare it when you do a brew and adjust as necessary.

How do people brew their beer?

I have heard it referred to as Brew in a Basket, and no a filter is not necessarily a bag or basket which contains the grain and is removed at the end of the mash. A plain filter on the other hand, the mash still has to be lautered.

How do people brew their beer?

Only ever did 1 extract kit, it's been AG since then. I brew because I enjoy the process and the recipe and equipment development.

    I'm a PC gamer when I game, I doubt I'll ever have a console.

Why bother with brew days. This kit is stonking.

I suspect that maybe you have wink...

No, most MP games I played are keyboard and mouse, Arma is the same. I did play Star Citizen for a while and considered two joysticks, I think for space flight sims they are great but not sure where else I would need them?

My first gaming computer was a Commodore 64, software was on tape cassettes and you had to install it each time you played it with heart in mouth that it would actually load. My first actual computer had a green screen monitor and 2 removable hard drives of 40MB each lol and I didn't actually...

Beginners Guide to Water Treatment (plus links to more advanced water treatment in post #1)

Hi I don't think Steve frequents the forum these days, though I could be wrong. It seems odd that you don't have sulphate on your water report, is it listed as SO4? You will need sulphate content so failing that I would send a sample for analysis to Ward Laboratories.

Pub takeaway drinks rules to be continued for 18 months

Pubs in England and Wales will be able to continue selling takeaway drinks after the government decided to keep Covid licensing rules. They were allowed to serve customers through hatches when they were forced to close under pandemic laws in 2020. The rules were due to expire on 30 September...

Well, when I say "bucket" I mean all we had was a hole in't ground.

    First timer

Hello and welcome. I think it is best to start on bottles, kegging is a lot less hassle in the long run but there is a lot to sort out and other equipment and expense, so I would suggest you leave that until you decide if homebrewing is for you. When I started up I just bought supermarket beer...

Inkbird 308 controller use for mash?

Not at all, in fact several members on this forum use/have used them, just do a search. I believe @chopps is one of the past users and I took advice off another user on this forum who uses the same.

Inkbird 308 controller use for mash?

To get an understanding I suggest you watch THIS it's probably the best explanation on how to set one up and is almost exactly the same as the IPB16-s

Inkbird 308 controller use for mash?

They do work fine with 240v, you need to swap the U.S. style sockets for UK one's on the end of the leads but that is a simple process, done several brews with mine now and my mash temperature control has never been better.

Inkbird 308 controller use for mash?

I have used one but why not buy an Inkbird IPB-16s, designed for the job and much better temperature control?

    Dishwashers and Stainless Steel?

Oh no, there are much bigger than this, when I was a youth I used to install the detergent pumps on commercial dishwashers so Ive seen some pretty big dish and pan washers. Places like Butlins had pan washers you could walk into.
