Equipment For Sale Grain father sparge heater biab

Kendal in Cumbria, Sorry for not adding this. The price of the biab kit on malt miller is £175. So for this, the mini keg with gas adapter and fermenter with airlock I'd be looking at offers around £200 all in. Thanks, Jimmy 🍻😃👍

Hi, due to a change in circumstances I have for sale a brand new 40l grain father sparge water heater for biab brewing. Its the kit from malt miller that includes everything you need to get going, taps filters etc. I also have a brand new mangrove jack's 10l mini keg and a fermenting bucket. I'd...

    Infection risk high?

It was after the boil, which has got me slightly worried. I'm not sure if he stirred his brew with it then dropped it in!! I was fuming 🤣

    Infection risk high?

Hi guy's, I'm fairly new to brewing so I'm starting with some small 1 gallon brews to get a feel for things before moving to bigger batches. Anyways last week I brewed a all grain batch and when I was transferring from stock pot to fermenter I noticed a tea spoon in the bottom of my stock pot of...

    Mini Kegs

Is there any benefits of 10l mini kegs over 10l corny kegs?

    Mini Kegs?

Thanks for your replies guy's! I have some flip top bottles so I think I'll maybe fill a 10l keg (or two 5l) and use the rest up in bottles! Cheers, 👍🍻

    Mini Kegs?

Has anyone jumped straight into kegging then before bottling? I do like the sound of one vessel rather than loads of bottles. Cheers 🍻

    Mini Kegs?

Hi. I'm just about to start doing some biab brews on a modified grainfather 40l heater. Does anyone recommend mini kegs over bottles for simplicity? It seems to me that by force carbonating and serving from the same vessel would be much easier? I'm talking about the 10l kegs with soda stream gas...

    Cube and hose.

So is it just a case of transferring to FV, and pitching yeast when dropped in temp? Is there any problems with the air space? Just that I saw guys who use a 'cube' to squeeze air out before capping. Appreciate your help thanks 👍🍻

    Cube and hose.

Hi, does anyone know where's best to purchase HDPE containers within the UK for no chill? Also I'm just about to start BIAB brewing with a modified 40l grain father sparge water heater from the MM. Does anyone know which silicon type hoses are best to connect to the tap? Sorry for what's...

    Lager brewing

I tried kozel dark and kozel light? When I travelled through Prague a few years ago. If I remember rightly some locals we were drinking with mixed the light and dark 50/50. It tasted great from what I remember!

    Lager brewing

Darren jeory, regarding those beers you specified, all of which are lovely. Is it just me that looks for whether a certain beer is brewed in the brewery it's meant to be brewed ie pilsner urquell in Czech etc rather than 'brewed in the UK under licence'. Might just be me but I stick to that idea 🍻😂

    Chill cube?

Thanks for all your comments guy's it's helped me out. Just need to source a fv and choose what I'll brew first!! I have a load of grolsh style flip top bottles ready to go! I've heard no chilling isn't great for hop forward styles so maybe a English ale type of beer to begin? Would you...

    Chill cube?

Hi Mmmbeer, thank you for your reply. Yes I am planning on no chilling to begin with. It just crossed my mind if it was possible to chill the cube, if I wanted to chill. I've read that people ferment in cubes also so that's kinda where the idea came from. I have just bought the modified water...
