Well first brupacks craftsman extract kit is in the keg and the taster I got when I syphoned it was lovely didn't taste like home brew at all just like a commercial beer. i did one of these alongside the old suffolk strong and i will say the same bottle these kits instead of kegging as they simply take too long to brew but are great beers strong too this beer was a very nice drop of porter

i did this one for my first brew of the year gotta say lovely pint just like broadside in strength and flavour i always keg my beers tho i would highly reccomend bottling these kits as they take ages to make for instance a normal 3kg kit takes me a week to ferment and bout a week to clear with...

well the barrel is empty and gotta say i will do this again but, stick to the original recipe and not tweek it and will leave it longer to mature properly for at least a month or two (hmm need to get third keg into operation) :cheers:

took another look at the brew and has now 98 percent cleared and taste is ok on my second pint and has turned out fairly strong so almost happy with it be interesting to see how it tastes towards the bottom of the barrel

i have made loads of these kits in my opinion def one of the best woodfordes kits they make right along side the headcracker barley wine i made two of those kits and put them both in the same keg was a good christmas that year was a proper 3pints and gone pint the nr tho a great allround beer...

yep you kegged it to early was still in primary so was too much yeast still active best bet is to move it carefully to somewhere wher it doesnt matter if it blows and get a new keg and after a few days syphon it off into the new keg and salvage valves etc from distorted keg and chuck the rest as...
