    The hop extracts are a great way to bump your ibu without adding too much to the flavor. They're my cheat for West Coast IPAs. We used to have a local producer who made great stuff but they closed suddenly.

    Like the other said, that is a bit of biscuit but I would go for it if this is your first shot at this recipe. I might even throw a pinch of honey malt in there just because. As far as yeast goes, maybe an s-04 at 17C (am I converting right?) so you're not getting much esters. It's your first...

    Feedback please

    Pub ale; the basics are 77% Maris Otter, 7.7% Crystal 40, 7.7% white wheat malt, and 7.7% (one tin, 454 grams) Lyle's Golden Syrup. I'm not shooting for exact true-to style... I never do, but a close proximity. This will use Cellar Science "nectar" yeast and probably Kazbek hops so for sure not...

    I'm a homebrewer/ wine maker from New England and excited to see what everyone in the U.K. is up to! I brew a variety of styles dependent on the season and my mood on a Spike Solo 15 gal ( 60L) system. Very excited to see what anyone is doing differently and get feedback on my English styles...
