Can anyone identify this beer and fathom a recipe?

I do want to have a go as it's a favourite in our house but not sure of malt percentages so haven't yet. Starting gravity of 14 is about 1.047 And finishing 3.5 is about 1.014

    Making labels for your beer

yeah it's that simple Fatcol. I discovered that method through forums like this when I started and haven't looked back. The labels come off in seconds with hot water and don't leave any nasty glue.

    Making labels for your beer

Hey guys, thanks for checking it over for me. I'm afraid I'm not actually a gimp user either so not sure about multiple labels. I'm a fireworks user but given the cost of graphics software I thought it might be a good thing to work out the basics for folk who don't have access to proper...

    Making labels for your beer

Guys, I put a post on my blog a while back about making labels for your beer and it's been a massively popular post, so I thought I'd do an update and actually show folk how to use some of the free software to make labels of your own. It's been quite a lengthy day writing it up so I'd...

    Non Alcoholic lager and homebrewing?

Glad someone asked about this as it's something I'd be really interested in. My dad is a recovering alcoholic and so can't drink any beer, although we share some of the non alcoholic stuff occaisionally. But he is always really disappointed that he can't taste any of my beers as he's quite...

    Youngs American IPA

I did the pale ale as a trial kit for our brew club. It's bottled and carbonating just now, fingers crossed. The kits seemed to be decent quality, hooing it tastes good.

DIY label glue for bottle labels

    Brewing gluten Free

I think I'm gonna need some expert help for my next batch. The girls at work have just asked me to brew a gluten free beer for one of our colleagues who is celiac. I've seen some kits available but wondering if anyone has any experience of actually brewing gluten free and is it possible to get...

    Elderflower Power

Things are looking good for my elderflower sparkling wine. The gravity is down to 0.991 guess it was fermenting away no problem :) I'm more excited about this than I normally am about beer.

    Elderflower Power

I'm trying an elderflower champagne just now (it's in the fermentor). First time trying to brew anything that's not beer. I've noticed all I can smell are the lemons, I wonder if I've maybe added too much but also I was expecting the fermentation to foam up like beer does so I spent the last...

Brewyourown did one a while back you could try. They are usually pretty good. http://byo.com/food-recipes/item/762-hobgoblin-ale-clone This guy has been quite successful with clone recipes. His fursty ferret is apparently almost spot on, so his recipe might be worth a try...

Anyone Suffered Flooding During the Recent Bad Weather??

Just felt I should apologise profusely to those of you affected by the flooding. I read recently that it was a punishment on the uk for the law change allowing same sex marriage. The girlfriend and I are intending to marry in the near future but we promise to wait until the drought and hose...

Picnic tap and beer line - diameter

I'm throwing this one out there in the hope that someone knows off the top of their head. I'm at work so I can measure at the minute but wondered if anyone happened to know the diameter of beer line you need for a picnic tap (the black plastic type). I fancy buying some longer line (in a...
