    Strawberry and raspberry cider

I've tried this one over Christmas and it wasn't great. Yeasty taste and too sweet. I've tried it again on Friday and it has improved greatly. The yeast has very well flocculated so you can't taste it anymore. And the sweetness is now at a very decent level. The bottom lime is that Turbo Ciders...

St Peters Ruby Red Ale review

Started one a few weeks ago. OG was 1041 and I let it in the FV for 3 weeks. Bottled over the week-end with 100g of priming sugar. I will let you know how it turns out.

    Turbo Cider Questions :)

You will probably need to boil the syrup before using it. Regarding the sweetener you might want to expirement several settings and after tasting choose which one you want to use in your future batches.

    Arrogant ******* Clone AG #3

Nice one! Looking at the grain bill it must be a pretty high SG, isn't it?

    Strawberry and raspberry cider

Racked it into a clean DJ last week. Had a quick sip and it is promising. I will probably bottle it in 2 weeks time.

Beer brewday - Brewferm Triple (kit)

Bottled it last week. Brewferm capper is definitely a pain to use! Anyway, I've managed to get the job done. Should be ready for Christmas, can't wait to try it :)

    Brewferm Triple

The yeast that comes along with the kit ferments best in the 18-22 degrees range.

    First turbo cider

I've tried my first bottle yesterday. On the bright side it is crystal clear and very well carbonated. But then the taste is very disappointing. It is very very acidic and has a yeasty after taste. I'm starting to think that I shouldn't have added malic acid.

Beer brewday - Brewferm Triple (kit)

So today was my first beer brewday in years. I went with the Brewferm range as my local "homebrew store" has only brewferm products. I will probably order online now as the seller was not very useful to me and didn't know much about brewing. I also purchased the Brewferm starter kit "deluxe"...
