    Upgraded my boiler and put another SNPA clone on today, no pictures as I was happy to just crack on with the brew :D got my brew time down to around 4hrs from start to pitching yeast. still ended up 2ltrs short though :hmm: even after adding an extra 2ltrs to my HLT.

    Best thermometer for brewing?

    Hi guys, can anyone recommend an accurate thermometer? used three on my last brew and had three different readings one of which was way out.

    Hi guys, I hope to do my first all grain brew soon and have got all my kit more or less sorted thanks to all the info on this site and have got all my grain and hops ready. I have been using a recipe off the malt millers website for reference but there is no mash time? it gives a boil time of 60...

    Coopers Irish Stout stuck at 1020.

    Hi guys, Put this kit on two weeks ago and it seems to be stuck at 1020, I did the kit with a tin of Coopers DME and it has been at a steady 20 degrees for this time. Gave it a stir on Sunday and checked with hydrometer today and still 1020! any suggestions?

    Hello there.

    New to brewing and new to the forum. Have been having a good read of the forum for a week or so and have my first kit brew in the fermenter at the moment. Hope to bottle tomorrow as its been two weeks and i think its ready.
