Hi Morebeer, has the locknut arrived as I was interested in confirmation that it fitted ok. To double check are we talking about the 2.75kw elements? What does one then do to provide a shroud please, or is the locknut slim enough for the original supplied shroud to fit on as well?

Sorry, only just read thread. If its not too late IMO its far easier to just buy a 15mm male coupler and a 15mm female coupler and screw them together either side of the vessel wall with a washer obviously on the male coupler. You can then easily attach 15mm pipework either side to attach a tap...
