Dry hopping my messed up pale

Hi guys, made a bit of a mess of my last brew and diluted it to much so instead of having a 4.8% I now have a 4.1% pale ale. It has Bravo for bittering and an experimental hop for aroma. Around 50ish IBUs now I think. I am thinking of dry hopping it with a mix of 50% Ahtanum, 30% Chinook and...

BrewDog Jackhammer Clone - hop schedule dilemma (Columbus and Centennial)

I'm putting a recipe for a Jackhammer clone. Flushing surface of FV with CO2

I dry hop a lot and unfortunately on my last brew I think I opened the lid too much, as I squeezed the hopping bag every day for 7 days, so when it came to bottling time there was basically no CO2 in the FV. (or in such low quantities that I could not tell). Is there anything out there that I...

Anybody tried adding enzymes to their brew to reduce gluten?

I am looking into this at the moment. On my travels through California last year I was talking to a brew-pub owner who had a gluten free (or gluten reduced beer I should say) who brewed his beer then added an enzyme that basically broke down the gluten proteins in barley. My wife, who is gluten...

Anybody brewed with NZ and Aussie Hops?

Was just wondering if any of you guys have made beers containing New Zealand hops? I know that Nelson Sauvin, Topaz and Green Bullet are relatively well known. I was having a look at Kohatu, Wai-iti and Riwaka for some steep or dry hopping. Anybody had a go with these?

    Hi Guys and Gals

Hi there, I'm from sunny Leeds and am currently on my 2nd brew. First one came out pretty poor, really sour and not balanced at all so have joined up here to improve and share some knowledge!
