Just had my first ever pint of the Woodfordes Wherry. What a cracking pint!! Nice combo of malt and hops. Great head and lacing all the way down the glass...I will be getting another one on ASAP!! ;-)
I have now done four brews in my temp controlled fermentation fridge. The difference shows in the finished product. No off flavours whatsoever. Previously I struggled to keep my brews at a constant temp and I think this showed with an 'home brewed' tasting beer. As Kngsze states you won't regret...

I have used a brew belt for the past year with very irregular results. I have recently changed to a fermenting fridge and the difference is amazing! If you have the room ...invest in one!!
Hi
I currently have a coopers stout in my fermenting fridge. I made the kit up to 20 litres after steeping 200gr of chocolate malt grains to hot water, drained then added to the FV. I am after a nice chocolatey flavour. Do you think the end result will achieve this or would you recommend any...

I have just fibished building my fermentation fridge. I have just put my Woodfordes Wherry in there to cold crash. I have set the temp to 4'C . Is this okay? Or can you guys tell me the correct temp?
Many thanks

Hi
I have tried the Geordie Scottish Exoort bitter. It was one of my first brews. It fermented with ease, bottled as clear as a whistle and tasted amazing. I waz very impressed with what is a budget kit. If I remember right I brewed it with DME and granulated sugar. I would definitely recommend ;-)
Monkeygirl ...I currently have a wherry in the FV just coming to the end of fermentation. Heard a lot if great reviews about it so looking forward to the results. Keep the updates coming has you seem to be a couple of weeks ahead of me so it will give ne something to compare mine to [emoji482]...
Just done my first wherry kit myself today. I too have heard many good things about this kit. ..so thought it was about time I had a go . Unfortunately I paid £24 for mine from my local HBS. Ah well. At least im supporting my local retailer :-)
Hi
It sounds like the one that arrived with no gas in has a leak so I would replace the seals...while you are ordering you should get 2 sets ofvseals and replace them all. I too recently have purchased 2 cornys which needed a good clean on the outside. I used some stainless steel cleaner which...
Ben sat in secondary for just over a week now.. ill leave it there for a few more days ...then out in the cold for a week or two... then in the corny as soon as one becomes free. Smells nice and the taste is very nice
Just finished doing my pimped up Milestone Crusader. Brewed it short to 20 litres and added some orange peel, crushed coriander seeds and some hallertau hops. Anyone else tried this kit? What's your view of it?

I have just made the costly mistake of not doing my research...I was stupid enough to think that all regulators fitted all gas bottles. Doh.....I bought a co2 regulator, then went and got a 70/30 mix gas bottle thinking this would all be the same...but I was so wrong :-( anyway another mistake...
Tell us about the time your brew day went wrong. Don't be embarrassed. I think we all must have a story to tell. Maybe then we can all learn from others mistakes ;-)
