    BIAB set up for sale

Yep, plug etc on pot already, I use stainless scrubbies as a hop filter (and then to clean it after, new one per brew, about 15p) they fit around the elbow in the base of the pot. For the controller you will just need to wire it up, loads of diagrams / videos available, should take about...

My First Simple BIAB Recipe - Feedback

Sorry but I could not disagree more, 30g is not even a large amount! I dry hop at 6g/l for 4-5 days as do some of the best craft breweries around. I would suggest that anything over a week would introduce grassy / vegetal flavours but with 5g that's not going to much of an issue! Also, don't...

My First Simple BIAB Recipe - Feedback

If you are not using any crystal, which is fine, I would mash on the warm side 67-68 to build body. As for the hops I would definitely recommend some in at flame out / turn off, 20g should be good. Other than that, relax and enjoy it, it really is a doddle!

    Half Height FVs

I use two 15l ritchies fermenters in my fridge, they are a lot shorter but not half. I don't use an air lock, just snap the lid on, the gas finds it's way out easy enough!

    Question about lactose

No worries, just popped it Into beer alchemy on the iphone, 200g of lactose will provide 7 gravity points to 8litres of water / wort

    BIAB timings

Sorry, I totally disagree with you. I appreciate you happily use 90min+ mashes, but to state "you need at least 90mins" is just not true, I, along with many, many others use 60 minute mashes successfully. I regularly achieve 75%+ efficiency with this method.

    BIAB timings

60 minutes is ample for the vast majority of brews, most of the conversion is completed in the first 20 minutes. I would only go above 60 for more complicated mash schedules / decotions or if using under modified malt

    Craft Beer or crafty labeling?

Most (if not all) things brew dog do are 'borrowed' from others, so I don't imagine that's any different!

    Craft Beer or crafty labeling?

One idea would be for Siba to come up with a phrase, such as 'Arisan brewed' trademark it, and allow breweries under a certain size use it...
