Here's what I've got planned for tomorrow. Not sure what I'm going to call it yet. (edit: have now)

Batch Size: 23l
Planned OG: 1052
Estimated ABV: 5%
IBU: 45

5kg MO

Styrian Goldings 20g 90m
Pioneer 25g FWH (was 90m)
Pioneer 15g 15m
Lubelski 30g 15m (edit: was Saaz)

Nottingham yeast.

Nice and simple.

I'm umming and aaahing about the Saaz at the moment. I wanted lubelski, but I've only got pellets and I can't use them yet.

... or maybe I can. Might bodge some mesh up later.

From ROBCAMA:

PIONEER 7 , 11% Pleasant lemon/grapefruit citrus aroma distinctively hoppy

First time I've used them, but I like the beers I know are made with them

EDIT: Maybe I should get off my **** today and finish the new boiler and hopstopper. Problem solved.

Grain and treatments all weighed out.

Mash on!

Assisted by the very able Boris yet again, I'll see you in 90 minutes.

Sparging...

FWH in. (update on hops later)

Boris seems to have disappeared. I think he's over the road in the pub.

Racking off the last one - Malteaser. It's definately getting towards the malt profile I was looking for. Should be a cracker when it's ready.

Cheers!

Not one of mine. It's a Badger First Gold.

Late hops and IC in. That **** at the back of the boiler is some of SWMBO's tights with 30g of Lubelski pellets in.

It's a new IC that I quickly whipped up yesterday as my old one has leaks galore and it's bent out of shape quite badly.

Last lot...

Here's the dirty shot...

Yeasties all tucked up and ready to go...

Here's the new IC compared to the old one.

And for a change, I actually cleaned stuff so I don't have to do it before the next brewday!

Should have also said, I got 22.5l at 1055. Bit stronger than I was aiming for, but I can't be bothered boiling the kettle so it can stay like that.

May bank holidays coming up dontcha know. Need something a little stronger for those.
