Well, this evening is the 4th AG BIAB using my first bought batch of grains and hops.
I've used roughly the same Clibit recipe bar a few tweaks but trying different hops to gain experience and taste.
1st AG BIAB - Fuggles. I was well impressed.
2nd - Goldings.
3rd - Progress. Both still waiting on bottle conditioning.
Even though I haven't tasted the Goldings and Progress variety, I went ahead anyway and used all three hops in my final batch before I have to buy some more malt.
As follows:
Maris Otter 750g
Crystal Malt 90 200g
Flaked barley 50g
Goldings 5g 60 mins
Fuggles 5g 20 mins
Progress 5g 10 mins
I've tried to be 'smart' :whistle: and graded the hops to their alpha values!
Again, I can't wait to see what happens.
Now, where is my shopping list?
