:D Tommorows brew, lovely cool weather down south ideal for brewing :cheers: I`m looking for an IPA style brew using chinook and nelson sauvin, this should be a citrusy fruity brew with plenty of balls :lol:

Rick`s Revenge 6.2%

23litres

4400g pale malt
200g amber malt
200g munich malt
300g white sugar

20g chinook - 90min boil
20g nelson sauvin - 90min boil
30g nelson sauvin - 10min boil
15g nelson sauvin - 5min boil
15g nelson sauvin - 1min boil
20g nelson sauvin - steep at 80degrees - 30mins

Expected OG:1052 IBU:66.7
Expected FG:1006 SRM:7.8

Will be using US-05 and some basic water treatment :thumb:

Just about to sparge, slightly disorganised hungover at seven this morning and luckly noticed that one element in the boiler was on, with no water in it :eek: 10seconds later it would of broken i think :nono:

Few pics later - oh and those nelson smell absolutley superb :D shame i`ve only 100grams of them :lol:

mash done and sparge done, 25mins of the boil left, the amber and munich have added a nice colour to the pale malt

Nice one Rick :thumb: our Courgettes are huge as well this year were about 3 down already and loads still growing!
