I still want X-ray specs V, but that looks as it might fill the spot for now :thumb:

It looks so simple, doesn't it? Still, it'd take the unwilling stepson factor out of sparging. They love to drink it and share it with their mates, but they won't twist a knob and peep into a MT for half an hour.

Like the idea :thumb:

"I believe I have one of those in my toilet cistern, I just need a shiny float for it!"

Why do you need a shiny one, is the toilet one not food grade ?

I will have to take the toilet to bits, do see if the water entry/exit can be directed down the hose. :(

As much as I like some of Blichmann's stuff that one is just a toilet/water trough valve with a few modifications. You could buy one for about 5 quid.

If you wish to sparge that way, what's the matter with a simple Valentine arm?

Having looked that one up it looks like a much simpler system, interesting.
