I'm busy preparing for AG / BIAB brewing and have read a lot of posts on the forum regarding the use of coolboxes for a mash tun.I've seen one at tesco for £12 would this be suitable?

Thanks in anticipation:cheers:

Depends on the brew length you are after really. I've got a similar one but 30l. There is minimal insulation so you will need to add extra.

You should be ok with upto about 6kg of grain and a couple of 12l batch sparges I reckon.

I have the same one. Have added extra insulation around the inner box (foil insulation from B&Q.)

I am still struggling with the tap fitting, tbh. I am terrified of getting it wrong!

My thought was initially that 'it's only £12, who cares?' Now I've spent all this time on the manifold and insulating it the answer is 'me!'

Good luck, let me know how you get on.
