So on Monday I did my first AG brew. I kept it simple and just used some pilsner malt, saaz hops and saflager s-23 yeast but it was an interesting day.
I made some mistakes but I got 15l of wort at the end which is fermenting nicely at the moment.
I made a few mistakes, but expected that what with it being my first AG brew and all new gear but that just means I'll do better next time, fingers crossed.
The main lesson I learnt was that using the bazooka filter with the klarstein AIO brewer is pointless

. Great rapid learning too.... the whole filtering/screening of hops and residue is a proper wicked problem. There are not perfect answers, only least worse options.
