hi all just bottled my first lager just a couple of questions that have prob been asked before :)
do i store my bottles were i had my FV for a couple of days then move to a warmer or cooler place, think i have read this somewere

then is it about 6-8 wekks when ready to drink

thanks for any help

Once it's bottled or kegged keep it in the warm for a week then move it somewhere cool to condition. I usually give it a few weeks in the cool then have a sample for quality control ;)

6-8 weeks seems like an awful long time after carbonation has taken place.

I would do that in reverse and condition the beer in you fermenter for 6 weeks (given its an actual lager) and then bottle. Don't worry about keeping it on the yeast for over a month, no harm will come to the beer in that time.
