I'm all for a stout movement and women drinking more beer! Though we all know after watching 'Inside the Factory', Guinness is definitely a macro lager with some black steeping grains added in for colour and some nitrogen for mouthfeel.
The 0% stuff is quite nice though from the can.

Great news, but my god, mainstream media beer journalism is bloody awful. So many contradictions cut and pasted together. Sales boosted by nostalgia for modern flavours and 0% stouts, in drinkers with maturing palates looking for sweeter, less bitter beers.

When I worked on the mine sites in Indonesia I couldn't interest a woman with a Bintang. The only thing they all drank was Guinness imported from Ireland

My gran only ever drank dark beers/stouts...and whisky, but then she was Scottish. Think Robinsons Old Tom was her tipple certainly in winter, but was partial to a Guinness too. She was tough as old boots.
