Was given a hop plant a few weeks ago its been in the kitchen growing in a small pot. Its about 12 inches now. Would planting it outside kill it off as its been used to the warmth in the house?

Under glass or a greenhouse will be ok but i wouldnt stick it outside until theres no chance of frost as that would kill it.
Pots tend to freeze up faster than the ground will.
I had some Papaya plants growing and lost them all to frost here!!

I grow all my own stuff here , i would'nt put a hop plant out till the last frost has passed ... thats about mid to end of May , the week before your going to plant out ... leave it out side during the day and bring it in at night , this is called hardning the plant off ;)
