Hi

First brew of Wherry as my first kit in 20 yrs.

It started last Wednesday so has had 8 days in FV. Fermentation seemed to be over after the weekend and now it's just sat there. I turned off the heater yesterday.

Should I keg now? I am keen to get it into the keg if poss but don't want to spoil it for waiting a few days... Hydrometer says 1014.

TIA

Adri

If you have 3 consecutive readings at 1014 and it has dropped clear then keg it. If it isn't then don't. Beer is best clearing in an fv were the yeast can drop out than in the keg where you run the risk of cloudy beer.
