I was thinking on a similar vien with the warm weather [hopefully] that we will get in the next few months i would like to keep my brew in a barrel rather than have all the mucking about with bottles. Are there any small fridges that will accomadate my barrel the dimensions are width 16" hight24" depth 16".

Please note I'm only a basic brewer ie i buy the kits in the bucket and in the barrel so no fancy gear i have not.

If anyone has a particular make of fridge they could pass on the details would be of help.

Hi Chris, I've just bought 2 cornies and im on the lookout for a fridge for them, can you post the dimensions of ur fridge just so i know that 2 cornys will fit in, nice setup by the way. :thumb:

The dimensions of the fridge were 25cm in height and approx (i think) 21cm in length. The cornies just didnt fully fit so i had to remove some of the foam insulation.

Actually we can blame Vossy for this.....after seeing his pics, got me thinking!!

i think you have your dimensions wrong there bud
according to you your fridge is about 10 inches high and 9 inches long

yeah thats what i thought, the kegs themselves are about 90cm high lol

what brews u got in them chris? did u force carbonate them or leave them at serving pressure for a while?what PSI did u use?

Got the kegs last week, so i have fizzy water in one to play about with. LOL! Had to try them out you see.

I have a batch of Ale on the go just now....i like making a lager style beer using Nottingham yeast and loads of Saaz hops. Always turns out nice.
