I'm Adam, 'her indoors' is Joanne (hence the user name).
I'm trying to remember what my dad used to do about 20 to 30 years back, and showing Jo the ropes a bit (while trying to keep her happy), hence why I'm classing us as beginners. Primarily we're kit brewers, but there may be some 'fresh' wine brewed (apples, potatoes, whatever sounds good...) later on, when we've more experience to draw on.
I'm hoping the more experienced on here can guide us through the ins and outs and problems as we come across them, but once we learn the ropes we can then help out where we can!
So far we've had a Solomon Grundy 6 bottle Cherry kit brewed, a California Coinnoseur 6 bottle Zinfandel Blush, and a Simply 40 pint Lager; all relatively successfully, albeit not exactly pub/off licence standard - but they're ours!
So here's to our future in homebrewing!
