Hi everyone, new member here and fairly new to home homebrewing, only on my third attempt of batch making, first two fairly successful but my current batch is lifeless! Just added more yeast to it but I don't know if this will revive it or not. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, many thanks in advance, Pawpaw

Post up your full recipe so we can get an idea of whats involved. What quantity has made it into the fermenter? What type of fermenter? Are you absolutely sure it is sealed?

When you say lifeless do you mean its not bubbling? Was it bubbling before?

After the initial phase of fermentation the fermenter should go fairly quiet, that is normal and nothing to worry about.

I will look for the recipe as I put the original packet out but it is a 23ltr bucket, no air leaks and no air bubbles whatsoever, I worked in a lab for over 20 years so I am meticulous in what I am supposed to do, I can't figure it out!
