Hi All

I have brewed on and off for over forty years. Now retired and plenty of time to dedicate to home brewing!

I've seen many changes over the years but the availability of ingredients, the knowledge on the forums and the excitement generated by the craft beer revolution means that this is the most stimulating time to be a home Brewer.

In Barnstaple, North Devon we have an active Brewers' group which meets monthly. We sample each others' brews, write tasting notes, visit festivals and craft brew pubs, learn from each other. It's great! Our March challenge is to brew a lager, something UK home brewers rarely try.
