New user intro

Hi All

Quick intro as I WILL be asking questions later

Name is Bob and have been brewing kits for the last couple of years.

Received a copy of the Excellent (!) Home Brew Beer book by Greg Hughes. Read it , re-read it , re-re-read it , decided I had to move up to AG brewing. Google search on how to build a boiler and found this place. After going through all the 'How to' guides and bowing to my love of shiny stuff (and building things), have asked Bergland for a quote for 2 50L pots and a 32.5L Thermo pot. This has come in at I think a very reasonable £140 (ish) including delivery.

Once I've got them , the fun starts.

Sadly its mainly YOUR fault that I am going shiny so quickly.

The 'How To' guide on building a Boiler/HLT with site-glass is superb and I will be plagiarising it ruthlessly. Once the pots arrive , I'll be doing a BIG shop :)

Welcome. I got the same book for Christmas, very good book and makes me want to go AG at some point too! Need to master the kits first though!
