I swill mine under the tap never wash it and the patina builds up nicely then SWMBO notices bleaches the thing and ruin it, i was thinking of buying a brown mug

Sorry...I should have been more precise. The mug is brown inside from lots of very strong tea and not being washed out...ever.
My fishing mug hasn't been washed in years except for the odd bit of rain,it's had some whisky in it and had a couple of swills in the lake.

Tell her to use some of your brewing cleaner. VWP does a fantastic job at getting rid of tea stains without needing to use bleach

I dont want her to clean it i prefer a nice build up of tea stains it makes the tea taste better.
